Transfer-linked Barcelona star clarifies his future | OneFootball

Barcelona star Jules Koundé has this weekend moved to put an end to the ongoing speculation surrounding his future with the club.

Stopper Koundé has seen his name emerge as a prominent one in the transfer chatter across Europe for several weeks now.

This comes amid the understanding that the former Sevilla man has emerged as a leading transfer target on the part of the board at German champions Bayern Munich.

Amid an ongoing search for reinforcements at the back, those in a position of power at the Allianz Arena are understood to have earmarked Koundé – capable of filling multiple positions – as the ideal profile.

Not only that, but it has been suggested that, for the right price, Barcelona would be open to a sale.

Speaking during an exchange with the media on Sunday, the subject of his future in Catalunya’s capital was therefore put to the Frenchman himself.

And Koundé made use of the opportunity to reiterate his commitment to the Blaugrana cause, in responding:

“What I want is to have a great season, so rest well first to come back stronger, have a better season and help Barça to the maximum.

“I really look forward to that.”
