Before the start of the Club World Cup, Real Madrid had already confirmed three signings. Dean Huijsen and Trent Alexander-Arnold were able to join the squad for the tournament, while Franco Mastantuono decided to see out the competition with his boyhood club River Plate before heading to Madrid. But it seems the Merengues are not planning to stop there.

Indeed, according to renowned insider Fabrizio Romano, Real Madrid has just finalized the transfer of Rachad Fettal from Almería. Fettal is a Moroccan center forward who spent the vast majority of his minutes this season in Liga 2. He has scored three goals across all competitions this season and suffered a meniscus tear that sidelined him for 15 matches during the 2024-2025 campaign.

With the deal now signed, Rachad Fettal will not join Real Madrid's first team next season. The Italian journalist reports that he will play for Castilla, the Merengues' reserve side currently competing in Spain's third division.
