The French coach signs until 2027

Transfer: Patrice Beaumelle takes charge of Espérance de Tunis
On February 21, Espérance Sportive de Tunis confirmed the appointment of former Angola national team coach Patrice Beaumelle as head coach of the first team.
Just a week after leaving his position as Angola's manager, Patrice Beaumelle has found his new destination. The French tactician takes the helm at Espérance Sportive de Tunis until 2027. The Tunisian club also indicated that the rest of the technical staff will be announced at a later date.
The former MC Alger head coach succeeds Maher Kanzari, who was dismissed following the Blood and Gold's defeat in the fifth round of the CAF Champions League group stage against Stade Malien in Bamako.
Thanks to his extensive knowledge of African football, the 47-year-old coach will be tasked with maintaining the team's momentum in the Tunisian Ligue Professionnelle 1, where the title race is heating up with Club Africain and Stade Tunisien. The team is also gearing up for two explosive CAF Champions League quarter-final clashes against record-holders Al Ahly of Egypt.
