Transfer window: Medical underway for PSG’s winter signing!

Pedro Fernandez Sarmiento, often called Dro Fernandez, is reported to be very close to joining Paris Saint-Germain this winter. The 18-year-old midfielder has not wished to extend his contract, which runs until 2027 with FC Barcelona, and is expected to sign with PSG for around 8 million euros. Journalist Fabrizio Romano now confirms that the medical examination is underway.

“Dro is undergoing his medical today at Paris Saint-Germain before finalizing his transfer from Barcelona for 8 million euros.”

There is hardly any doubt left, except for the possibility of a last-minute surprise during the medical examination. It’s rare, but not impossible. So, we’ll have to wait a little longer for certainty. Dro Fernandez is still very close to PSG, and we can hope for an official announcement very soon.
