Transfer window – Zague back at PSG to relaunch his career?

Yoram Zague, a 19-year-old right-back under professional contract with Paris Saint-Germain until 2027, was loaned out for the 2025-2026 season to Copenhagen with a purchase option. A great opportunity, but one that hasn’t turned out as positively as hoped. L’Equipe confirms this Saturday that the loan will be terminated and discusses what’s next.

“The Danish club and PSG have agreed to end the Frenchman’s adventure in Northern Europe. Having made six appearances with Luis Enrique’s squad last season, the Parisian youth product is not expected to stay at PSG for the second half of the season. A solution is currently being considered, either in the form of a loan or a permanent transfer, to allow him to get more playing time.”

Unfortunately, Zague now finds himself in limbo and PSG has another case to manage. Nothing is ever simple during the winter transfer window, but there is hope that clubs will be looking for a low-cost option to strengthen their squads. We hope a good opportunity can be found so that the Parisian youth product can continue his career in the right conditions.
