Trinidad and Tobago win against Bermuda to close out World Cup Qualifying

PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad and Tobago – The Final Round of the Concacaf Qualifiers to the 2026 FIFA World Cup concluded with Trinidad and Tobago defeating Bermuda, 2-1, in Group B on Tuesday at Hasely Crawford Stadium in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago.
Kobi Henry opened the scoring for Trinidad and Tobago to pull ahead in the 9’, finding the back of the net with a header to capitalize on a delivery from Noah Powder.
Ne-Jai Tucker equalized for Bermuda in the 60’ with a left-footed finish to the bottom-right corner. Djair Parfitt-Williams provided the assist on the play.
Nathaniel James restored the lead for the Soca Warriors in the 66’ with a left-footed shot from the center of the box, provided by an assist from Wayne Frederick.
With the win, Trinidad and Tobago concluded its qualifying campaign in third place in Group B with nine points and a 2-3-1 record. Bermuda finished fourth in the group with a 0-0-6 record.
