TSG Hoffenheim have extended the contract of 23-year-old centre-back Valentin Lässig this afternoon.
Andreas Schicker, the club’s sporting director, said Lässig has delivered consistently in the 3rd division and earned the chance to test himself at a higher level, adding that they are pleased to continue together.

Lässig joined Hoffenheim’s U-12 in 2014 at the age of eleven, progressing through every youth level.
He stepped up to Hoffenheim II in 2021 and is captaining the side for a third consecutive season.
The defender has been included in Christian Ilzer’s first-team squad three times this season.
