La Lazio Siamo Noi reports that Sevilla centre-backs Kike Salas and Andres Castrin have been offered to Lazio via intermediaries. The club are in the market for at least one defender.

Alessio Romagnoli is about to be sold to Al-Sadd, while Mario Gila could join either Napoli or Atalanta. Lazio have also been linked with Dinamo Zagreb’s Sergi Dominguez, Girona’s Arnau Martinez and Brighton’s Diego Coppola.

Salas, 24, is a Seville native who came through the academy and reached the first team in 2023 after a brief loan at Tenerife. He has been on Angelo Fabiani’s watchlist since January 2025.

This season he became a regular starter, making 28 appearances across LaLiga and the Copa del Rey and scoring three goals. His contract runs to June 2029 and he is valued at around €14 million.

Castrin, 23, began at CD Lugo and joined Sevilla in summer 2024. He spent his first campaign with Sevilla Atletico, then earned promotion to the senior squad this season.

The Spaniard is not yet a regular, though he featured 21 times this season and scored three goals. With a 2027 expiry, he could be more affordable, at around €6 million.

As left-footed Oliver Provstgaard is expected to inherit Romagnoli’s starting role, Lazio’s priority could be a right-footed defender. That could make Castrin a more suitable profile than the left-footed Salas, even if Salas is the more accomplished.
