After Tarik Muharemovic, Oumar Solet has also given his priority to Inter. The Nerazzurri have been high on him for a long time, and Udinese could be ready to sell. The transfer was underway last summer, but it got disrupted by a sexual misconduct inquiry. The local DA’s office asked to dismiss the case in February. The decision of the preliminary investigation is pending.

Should he be cleared, he’ll become a tangible target, Sportitalia reports. His price tag is around €25M. The Bianconeri signed him for free from RB Salzburg in 2024. He has recorded 4 goals and 3 assists in 55 matches since moving to the Peninsula.

Inter could go for a twofer in the back, so Solet and Muharemovic aren’t mutually exclusive. The pursuit of the latter has gotten more complicated, though.

The Nerazzurri could also have a new piece gratis. Benjamin Pavard will return after his Olympique Marseille spell, Gianluca Di Marzio reports. He’d like to have the chance to fight for a spot. The reigning Serie A champions shipped him out last summer following a minor incident with Christian Chivu and the front office. He and his camp had complained about his lack of minutes in the second round.

Our Take on Inter, Solet, and Pavard

The Udinese star freelances a lot but would be interesting in their scheme and in an aggressive side that can make up for his occasional blunders in general. His price tag is somewhat modest for today’s standards. More teams should be in on him if he solves his legal trouble. They could do a lot worse than the Frenchman in a rotational role, but Chivu seems pretty stern with that kind of stuff.
