Real Madrid is gearing up for a major European showdown this Wednesday night against Manchester City at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, in the first leg of the Champions League round of 16. This highly anticipated clash is shaping up to be a tough one for Los Blancos, who will be without several key players.
As anticipated in recent days, Kylian Mbappé is not included in Madrid’s squad for this opening leg. However, the Spanish club is hopeful of having the French forward back for the return match.
Alvaro Arbeloa will also have to do without Rodrygo, who recently underwent surgery, as well as Éder Militão and Jude Bellingham. Kick-off for this much-awaited encounter is set for 9:00 PM at the Santiago Bernabéu. Real Madrid and Manchester City have faced each other 13 times in the past decade.
