New Paris Saint-Germain signing Illia Zabarnyi will start for Ukraine against France in Friday night’s FIFA World Cup qualifier.
Zabarnyi will start at the heart of the Ukraine defence in Wroclaw, Poland. He will start alongside Shakhtar Donetsk’s Mykola Matvienko and Valeriy Bondar in a back three. Benfica goalkeeper Anatoliy Trubin will start in goal for Serhiy Rebrov’s side. Roman Iaremtchouk is the only absentee for this game against Les Bleus as both sides look to get their campaigns underway with a win.
There are recognisable faces up front in midfield and up front, too. Bournemouth’s Yehor Yarmolyuk starts in midfield, whilst AS Roma’s Artem Dovbyk will lead the line, alongside Georgiy Sudakov, who joined Portuguese side SL Benfica over the summer.
