Undav ‘sets’ deadline for Stuttgart contract talks before World Cup

Deniz Undav has reportedly set a deadline for VfB Stuttgart over a new deal before leaving with Germany for the World Cup.

Bild reports that he wants clarity by next Tuesday, before the squad flies to the United States for the tournament.

If no agreement is reached by June 2, talks will be paused so the striker can concentrate fully on the World Cup, the report said.

The discussions concern a possible extension beyond 2027 after weeks of negotiations between club and player.

Undav is coming off a standout 2025/26, delivering 25 goals and 14 assists in 46 appearances in all competitions for the Bundesliga side.
