Vinicius Junior was the talk of the town during Real Madrid’s win over Sevilla on Saturday.
The club’s 2-0 victory over Sevilla was completely overshadowed by Real Madrid fans booing the Brazilian international, who looked visibly frustrated.
Although Vinicius Jr. has faced criticism from his own fans in the past, this was different as the supporters showcased loud and sustained booing.
Vinicius made his frustration known by changing his Instagram profile to a picture of him wearing the Brazilian shirt instead of the Real Madrid shirt, leading to speculation about his future.
To make things more interesting, Vinicius Junior directly flew to Dubai after the Sevilla win, according to a report from Defensa Central.
However, the report clarifies that it has nothing to do with talks about his future. Instead, he flew to Dubai as part of Real Madrid’s partnership with Dubai Tourism Authority to film advertising content.

The same report states that Vinicius will return to action at the Valdebebas on December 29 after completing all the promotional events in Dubai. Real Madrid have scheduled an open training session on December 30, one that the player is expected to attend.
His services could prove to be crucial as Real Madrid look to start the year on a positive note, as they take on Real Betis on January 4.
Real Madrid, for their part, want to keep hold of Vinicius as Florentino Perez still considers him to be a key part of the club’s project.
But the player is clearly not happy with recent developments and the way he gets treated by fans sometimes.
Therefore, the coming months could prove to be interesting as Real Madrid look to reach an agreement with the Brazilian before he enters the final 12 months of his contract.
