Unión claimed their first win in the AFA Primera División, against Gimnasia

Unión’s women’s football team earned a historic victory by defeating Gimnasia y Esgrima La Plata 2-0 at La Tatenguita, on the opening matchday of the AFA Primera División championship. In this way, the red-and-white side celebrated its first win since being promoted to the top tier of Argentine women’s football.

Las Tatengas put together a solid performance and claimed all three points thanks to goals from Emilse Albornoz and Agustina Marani, who made the difference on the scoreboard.
