Khvicha Kvaratskhelia struck in the fourth minute of second half stoppage time, but Paris Saint-Germain lost 2-1 to Lyon. The substitute's late surge gave PSG a lifeline without forcing an equaliser.
On shortly after the hour, Kvaratskhelia immediately carried PSG up the pitch from the left, committing defenders and opening space at the edge of the box. One weaving run ended with a goalbound effort blocked by Moussa Niakhate as Les Gones sank deeper.
His clearest opening came at the death, when he exchanged passes with Fabián Ruiz on the corner of the area before cutting inside and drilling a finish in off the post.
He finished with four attempts, two on target, four successful dribbles and five touches in the box. He also completed 24 of 25 passes, including 13 in the final third, underlining how he controlled PSG's left channel.
With Lyon defending narrow and deep after the interval, his direct bursts into the inside left lane repeatedly isolated markers and shifted territory back towards PSG.
PSG host Nantes next in Ligue 1. Les Gones welcome Auxerre next.
