Italy’s top flight is currently out of the top two, occupied by England (20.892 points) and Spain (19.035). Italy has accumulated 18.187 points so far, but England and Spain still have six clubs involved in European competitions, two more than Italy.

Only the top two countries at the end of the season will get an extra Champions League spot for 2025-26.

Four Serie A clubs have already been eliminated from the Champions League this term. Bologna were knocked out in the league phase, while the other three didn’t make it past the play-off round.

Milan were eliminated by Feyenoord with a 2-1 aggregate loss. Club Brugge defeated Atalanta with a 5-2 aggregate scoreline, while PSV Eindhoven knocked out Juventus after extra time, beating the Old Lady 4-3 on aggregate.
