Valencia’s Copa del Rey trip to Burgos produced standout moments for Rubén Iranzo and Umar Sadiq. According to Superdeporte, both scored as player ratings reflected a controlled display.
Iranzo struck first with a thumping header from an André Almeida corner. Later, Sadiq marked his return to the starting line-up by dinking over the goalkeeper after Largie Ramazani’s through ball.
The Macedonian goalkeeper kept his place for the Cup despite a changed role in the league, handling limited work confidently. Eray Cömert was steady, and César Tárrega played only a half, making a vital sliding stop.
Jesús Vázquez was busy down the left as play often tilted his way. Baptiste Santamaria had a quiet evening and did not look likely to dislodge Pepelu. Javi Guerra showed intent in spells but faded at times.
Diego López made runs from the right without major end product. Ramazani combined well with Sadiq, whose power attacking space troubled Burgos. From the bench, José Copete made one crucial intervention, Luis Rioja was tidy, and Arnaut Danjuma squandered a big chance.
