Puma’s short stint outfitting Valencia from 1990 to 1993 captured a club in transition, now back in focus as LaLiga plans a retro round alongside the 107th anniversary. According to Superdeporte, those kits mirrored a wider rebuild.

In 1990-91 the home shirt returned to plain white with a polo collar and the roomy early-90s cut. A stitched Puma logo featured, and Caja de Valencia or Bancaja fronted it. A gentle sheen lit up Mestalla nights.

Fernando Gómez Colomer led the side in that strip, with Voro, Paco Camarasa, Robert Fernández, goalkeeper José Manuel Sempere and Luboslav Penev. The away explored blue shades, while a bold third played with orange tones unusual in Spain then.

The 1991-92 design kept the white base and polo collar, with subtle colour tweaks on sleeves and neck. Alternatives leaned into a deeper blue, and the third added small orange accents. On the pitch, Fernando, Voro and Camarasa stayed central.

Puma’s final season came in 1992-93 before Luanvi. The home remained sober and white with minor graphic and sponsorship adjustments, while blue and orange options continued. It was another transitional year as the structure began to settle.

That era is defined by polo collars, generous cuts, fidelity to white and punchy blue and electric orange. With celebrations looming, reviving the white, blue or the orange third from 1990-91 and 1991-92 could be an emotive nod.
