Harry Kane has been linked with a return to the Premier League in recent months.

The striker has been in spectacular form since his move to Bayern Munich, and he helped them win the title last season.

Kane set for Premier League return?

Multiple clubs have been named as potential destinations, and former Manchester United defender Danny Simpson believes that he should move to Old Trafford.

Simpson has urged the England international striker to become a legend at Manchester United and fire them to a title. He also believes that Kane would be able to chase down the Premier League goal-scoring record at Old Trafford.

Simpson feels that Kane could have a similar impact to that of Robin Van Persie when he joined Manchester United from Arsenal and transformed them in the attack. The experienced striker could be the ideal mentor for Benjamin Sesko as well.

“I don’t know where else he could go, if I’m honest,” Simpson said, as reported by GOAL. “He can’t go to City, he can’t go to Arsenal, and I can’t see him turning Manchester United down. “He can come back, chase down the Premier League goals record, and lead United’s line. I’d love to see it, I said it when he was leaving Tottenham. It’s a good fit. If that option is there, I’d 100% go for it.” “He could help Sesko as well,” Simpson added. “He’d learn from Kane without the pressure of playing every single game. Harry’s already won trophies at Bayern, now he could come back and become a legend here, like when Robin van Persie came in and fired United to the title.”
