Vancouver Whitecaps beat Forge FC 4-0 to reach Canadian Championship Final

The Vancouver Whitecaps secured their place in the Canadian Championship final with a 4-0 win over Forge FC in the second leg of the semifinal on Tuesday. With a 6-2 aggregate score, Vancouver now awaits the winner of Vancouver FC vs. Atlético Ottawa for the final showdown.
This marks the fourth consecutive Canadian Championship final for the Whitecaps, having won the previous three, putting them on track for a potential fourth straight title.
The Whitecaps took control from the start. Tristan Blackmon opened the scoring in the 7th minute, followed by J.C. Ngando at 28 minutes. In the second half, Sebastian Berhalter converted a penalty at 49 minutes, and Nelson added the fourth goal at 66 minutes, sealing a convincing win.
With a 4-0 victory, Vancouver advanced 6-2 on aggregate, demonstrating tactical cohesion and offensive efficiency even with some reserve players on the field.
The Whitecaps now prepare for the final, facing either Vancouver FC or Atlético Ottawa. With an experienced squad, strong attack, and organized defense, Vancouver arrives as one of the favorites for the Canadian Championship 2025and a berth in the Concacaf Champions League.
