Vasco supporters taunted Botafogo before kick-off at São Januário, unveiling a choreographed mosaic while the stadium PA delivered a pointed message.
According to Globo.com, as Botafogo’s players came out for their warm-up, the Rio Metro jingle played, followed by the announcement “próxima estação: Botafogo”.

Home fans also raised a mosaic highlighting the head-to-head record against the club from General Severiano, carrying the message “Botafogo é bairro, o maior freguês da história”.
The sides are in action now in the 10th round of the Campeonato Brasileiro.
Renato Gaúcho’s team are unbeaten in five and sit 8th with 12 points.
