Vasco’s run to the Copa do Brasil final has sparked a surge in membership, with about 15,000 sign-ups in a day and the total passing 75,000 before the first leg against Corinthians on Wednesday the 17th at 21:30 at Neo Química Arena.
According to ge, Vasco ranked 12th in a July membership table with about 44,000, and at 76,000 they would move up to eighth.
A week before the Fluminense semi-final first leg, the club had around 55,000 members. Over seven days, more than 20,000 joined, growth of nearly 40%.
The rise is directly linked to demand for tickets for the second leg, alongside the team’s strong spell and a first national final in 14 years that has boosted engagement.

For the second leg against Corinthians, about 50,000 tickets have already been sold, with the decider on Sunday at 18:00 at the Maracanã.
