After 14 years, Vasco return to a Copa do Brasil final on Sunday, 18:00, at the Maracanã against Corinthians. Their last brought the club’s first crown, sealed against Coritiba.

According to Globo.com, this is where the 2011 starters and other standouts are today.

Fernando Prass retired in 2020 and is now a Globo pundit. Allan, then 20 and a starter at right-back, returned in 2024 to Botafogo, won Libertadores and has a deal to 2026.

Anderson Martins rejoined in 2017 to help clinch Libertadores qualification, last played in 2022 for CSA and runs a construction firm. Dedé left for Cruzeiro in 2013, won trophies, retired in 2022 and is a pundit.

Ramon left for Corinthians in 2011, returned in 2017 and retired in 2018, now a Globo pundit. Eduardo Costa stopped in 2015 aged 32, later had brief coaching spells and keeps a low profile.

Rômulo announced retirement on the 13th, his last club Retrô went down from Serie C and he plans to focus on family. Felipe is Vasco’s SAF technical director since June 2024, works alongside Pedrinho and twice acted as interim coach in late 2024 and before Diniz arrived in early 2025.

Alecsandro opened the scoring in that final, later won the 2013 Libertadores with Atlético-MG, retired in 2022 and now appears at events and in footvolley. Coach Ricardo Gomes suffered a stroke just over a month after the final, later returned with Botafogo, last coached Al Nassr, then worked as a coordinator and is currently unattached.
