ABC de Sevilla reports that Venezia are poised to submit a new offer this week for Sevilla striker Akor Adams, with the club valuing him at a minimum €15m.

The Italians had an initial approach of around €10m rejected, and Adams has a preliminary four-year agreement in place. The deal depends on the clubs narrowing a gap of roughly five million euros.

Adams is currently not among Sevilla’s 14 professional registrations with LaLiga, as the club used a special mechanism that lists certain players on a year-by-year basis. Rubén Vargas is in a similar situation.

Registering Adams would be impossible without first cutting salary commitments, with exits such as Nianzou or Joan Jordán required to free space. A move to Venezia would remove the need to make room.

His likely departure has raised concern over Sevilla’s thin attacking options. Neal Maupay has left after his loan expired, and Alexis Sánchez has also departed.

With few low-cost targets available, Joselu Mato is now much closer to joining RC Deportivo de La Coruña. For now, promising forward Adrián Liso remains an in-house option.
