Real Valladolid have completed the season-long loan of Víctor Fernández Junior from Valencia, the 19-year-old becoming their sixth addition.
According to AS, the Valladolid-born academy graduate, son of a blanquivioleta great, chose to come back despite several Segunda options.
He declined a new contract in 2024 while playing in the División de Honor, having already debuted for Promesas. He then joined Levante’s first team under Julián Calero, endured a difficult year without playing and did not want to drop to the second team.
In summer 2025 he moved to Valencia on loan with a purchase option for their second side, where he featured and impressed. Valencia later signed him outright and have now loaned him to Valladolid.
The club’s six confirmed recruits are Barberá, Dani Pérez, Van Duiven, De Rooij, Luis Chacón and Víctor Fernández. All trained with the first team today under Fran Escribá.
Valladolid are waiting for Ojeda to become the seventh signing. They are also weighing what to do with Alex Balboa amid his dispute with Lugo and are advancing the arrival of Argentine goalkeeper Lucas Lavagnino.
