Manchester United’s Victor Lindelof put up some impressive numbers versus Chelsea despite his side’s 1-0 loss at Stamford Bridge last night.

The Swede suffered from injury problems at the start of the season but he has been a regular over the past few weeks in the first team.

Since March’s game against Arsenal, he has started five games and played a part in nine of the last ten Premier League matches.

He also crucially started both Europa League semi-finals versus Athletic Club with injuries to Ayden Heaven and Matthijs de Ligt.

The Swedish international had some monstrous statistics in the first half against the side from Stamford Bridge.

Statman Dave reported that he won 100% of his duels in the first 45 minutes and he also came out on top in all of his tackles.

His passing was also on point in the back three, making 36 out of his 37 attempts. He also managed one block as United kept the Chelsea attack at bay in the first half.

Lindelof kept up his good work in the second half and finished the game with some more impressive numbers.

He completed 73 out of 76 passes for a passing accuracy of 96%. He also made an impressive seven out of his eight long ball attempts during the match.

Lindelof also finished the night with two clearances.

The Swede looks certain to leave Old Trafford this summer with his contract expiring and no sign of a renewal in the works.

Teams such as Inter Milan and Brighton and Hove Albion have been linked with a move for the United stalwart but he may have one big moment left in a red shirt.

With injury concerns over Leny Yoro and Matthijs de Ligt ahead of the final, Lindelof may just get the chance to play his part in one more huge game against Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday.
