Victor Osimhen ‘unlikely to join’ Barcelona, says Serdar Dursun | OneFootball

Victor Osimhen has been warned that a move to Barcelona is improbable despite his standout season with Galatasaray.

"I don't think Osimhen can play for Barcelona. Osimhen is a talented player, but he doesn't have a clean technique," said former Fenerbahce striker Serdar Dursun on Spor Smart's Cup Diary.

The Nigerian led Galatasaray to the Super Lig title and ended the campaign on 22 goals with eight assists in all competitions, prompting intense interest in his next step.

Barcelona, Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United and Chelsea have all been credited with interest, but Dursun questions whether the forward fits Barcelona's technical demands.

Recent reports indicate Barcelona are focusing on Julian Alvarez rather than pursuing an expensive move for Osimhen, in keeping with their emphasis on ball retention and intricate passing.
