Emerson Royal scored his first goal for Flamengo

Flamengo sealed the victory against Juventude this Sunday (14th), in the 23rd round of the Brazilian Championship. That’s because, in the final minutes of the match, Emerson Royal found the back of the net for Mengão, making it 2-0 on the scoreboard. The full-back, in fact, scored his first goal wearing the Sacred Mantle.

How was Emerson Royal’s goal?

Emerson’s goal came in the 42nd minute of the second half. After ten minutes on the pitch, Jorge Carrascal received the ball on the left side of the attack and crossed it to the full-back’s head. Thus, the number 22 rose unmarked at the far post and extended the lead for Flamengo.
