Villarreal C will face Levante B in the opening round of the Tercera Federación promotion play-offs, with the first leg at the Mini Estadi and the return in the Ciudad Deportiva de Bunyol.

According to El Periódico Mediterráneo, home advantage in the tie lies with Levante B after the final weekend. Villarreal C beat Torrellano 2-0 at the Mini Estadi, while Levante B won 1-0 at Ontinyent.

Mario Cervera and Mauro Roca scored in the first half for Villarreal C. Torrellano pressed but could not match a dominant home side.

The winners will meet La Nucía or Atlético Saguntino in the next round. The victor of the regional play-offs will then contest a two-legged national final against opposition from anywhere in Spain. Promotion to Segunda Federación therefore requires three ties, six more matches.

Relegations to Lliga Comunitat were confirmed for Utiel, Alzira and Recambios Colón. A fourth drop could occur, as a demotion for CD Castellón B from Segunda to Tercera Federación would send Atzeneta down as well.
