Villarreal to submit loan bid for Chelsea centre-back Axel Disasi | OneFootball

La Liga side Villarreal will submit a loan bid for Chelsea centre-back Axel Disasi (27), according to L’Equipe. The former AS Monaco international looks to be on his way out of Stamford Bridge after only two seasons in West London. The France international has been deemed surplus to requirements by Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca.

Disasi spent the second half of last season on loan at Aston Villa and the Villans have decided against making the former Monaco centre-back’s move at Villa Park a permanent one. Disasi is not even included in the Blues’ profiles on Chelsea’s website.

Neom SC are reportedly in advanced talks with Chelsea owners BlueCo to sign Disasi, but the promoted Saudi Pro League will be rivalled by Villarreal. El submarino amarillo are expected to submit a loan bid to Chelsea today, but the Premier League side would prefer parting ways with Disasi on a permanent basis. Juventus and Newcastle United have enquired about Disasi, but neither of them has made concrete approaches to Chelsea.
