Vinicius Junior appeared delighted after learning Barcelona had lost 4-0 to Atletico Madrid, reacting on camera at an event. MD reports that streamer Ibai Llanos told him the score, prompting a shocked grin and a short dance.

Barcelona had gone into the first leg of the Copa del Rey semi-final as favourites but were four down by half-time at the Metropolitano. They could not respond after the break and Eric Garcia was sent off late on.

Vinicius is set to return on Saturday night when Real Madrid face Real Sociedad at the Bernabeu.

He sat out the 2-0 victory over Valencia through suspension.

Before that he ended a La Liga goal drought against Rayo Vallecano with a sumptuous strike, a run dating back nearly four months to the start of October. He will hope his scoring touch is back for good.
