Vinicius Junior is attracted to the prospect of a transfer to Arsenal, as talks over a new contract at Real Madrid stall.

Vinicius has rejected Real Madrid's latest proposal of a new deal, with the Spanish side unwilling to meet the winger's demands.

Arsenal are monitoring the situation closely and are prepared to go 'all in' on a deal for the 26-year-old, if he expresses interest in leaving the Spanish capital.

The North London side's deal-makers have internally green lit a pursuit of Vinicius, provided he shows he is receptive to a move to thePremier League.

The Athletic are now reporting that 'a move to Arsenal appeals' to Vinicius if he does not renew, while casting doubt on the Brazilian reaching an agreement with Madrid.

Mario Cortegana has said there is 'little chance of talks progressing' at the current terms, as Vinicius's camp demand a salary of €30m net per season, and an unprecedented renewal bonus. The winger is reportedly ready to lower his salary demands if 'the renewal bonus remains on the table'.

“Vinicius Junior is asking for a package around, but not quite reaching, €30m net per season. That breaks down into several parts, including something completely unprecedented in Real Madrid’s history - a renewal bonus," Cortegana said.

“This is going to be the key sticking point, it has been from the start. While Vinicius is open to lowering his demands, as long as the renewal bonus remains on the table, I see little chance of the talks progressing - that’s my opinion. He wants a truly historic contract.”
