Palmeiras trained on Monday ahead of Tuesday’s Paulistão trip to Novorizontino, 20:00 at the Estádio Jorge Ismael de Biasi. Coach Abel Ferreira is preparing changes to his side.

According to Globo.com, Vitor Roque showed no damage to his right knee after Sunday tests. He worked to an individual programme on the grass and is likely to miss the round.

Andreas Pereira is in physical transition, taking part in small-sided technical work with academy prospects. He trained alongside midfielders Felipe Anderson, Lucas Evangelista and Figueiredo. An initial recovery timeline of about a month has shortened, with the club seeing a chance he is cleared sooner.

Paulinho and Facundo Torres continued injury treatment indoors. Meanwhile Veiga and Murilo, rested last time out, could return to the squad.

Further rotation is possible. A potential line-up could be: Carlos Miguel (Lomba), Khellven, Murilo, Gómez and Piquerez, Emi Martínez, Larson, Veiga and Allan, Luighi and Flaco López.
