Fabrizio Romano confirmed Juventus have made no move for Colombian striker Jhon Duran despite strong transfer speculation.

Juventus rumours shut down

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano ended the growing speculation surrounding the future of Jhon Duran, the Colombian forward currently on loan at Fenerbahce from Al Nassr.

In recent days, reports claimed Juventus were considering late move for Duran during the final hours of the winter transfer window.

The striker has been linked with exit from Turkey after difficult period with the Istanbul club.

However Romano made it clear that the rumours are not true.

No Juventus offer, no talks

Romano stated through his official account that Juventus have not sent any offer or proposal for Duran so far.

He denied claims of advanced negotiations and stressed that the Italian club are not working on deal for the player at this moment.

Duran is believed to be searching for a way out of his loan spell, with reports of growing dispute between him and head coach Domenico Tedesco.

His representatives have reportedly offered him to several European clubs but Juventus are not among the teams taking action.

Juventus focused on Kolo Muani

According to Romano, Juventus attention is fully directed toward signing French striker Randal Kolo Muani.

The club waiting until late in the window to see if deal becomes possible.

The situation depends on Tottenham Hotspur who hold the player’s contract rights meaning Juventus are focused elsewhere and Duran is currently outside their plans.

Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio also played down the rumours calling the reports about Juventus and Duran unsubstantiated.
