Incoming Barcelona signing Anthony Gordon has arrived in Spain, ahead of being unveiled as a Blaugrana player.

Attacker Gordon has of course dominated the headlines across all of Europe over the last 48 hours.

After word was forthcoming that Barcelona had suddenly turned focus towards a deal for the 25-year-old, negotiations with the Newcastle United board were quickly kickstarted.

As much gave rise to a big-money agreement, surrounding a transfer worth a fee with the potential to rise to €80 million.

Gordon, in turn, was given the green light to make his way to Catalunya’s capital, ahead of penning a contract with his new employers over the days ahead.

And as alluded to above, on Thursday, the Englishman touched down in the city which he can now call home.

Gordon was spotted by a heavy media presence departing Barcelona airport, before heading straight to the Spanish champions’ base to undergo a medical and sign his deal:
