Real Madrid must defeat Getafe in order to return to the back of La Liga, and they are on course for victory after taking the lead late on at the Coliseum.

It has been a very frustrating evening for Los Blancos, who have been limited to half chances for the most part. However, the match turned on the 78th minute when Allan Nyom was sent off for an off the ball incident involving Vinicius Junior, and seconds later, the opening goal has come courtesy of Kylian Mbappe.

Mbappe has had a quite evening, perhaps given that he came into this one on the back of an ankle injury suffered whilst playing for France during the international break. He missed a couple of chances earlier on, but he has made no mistake on this occasion, despite the best efforts of David Soria.

Real Madrid will fancy their chances of seeing this one out from here, given that they have the man advantage.
