Noonan spent two seasons with Celtic. She netted a hugely impressive 57 goals in 74 appearances for The Ghirls and was the club’s top scorer in back-to-back seasons. Noonan netted five hat-tricks across the last two campaigns. The forward won the Scottish Gas Women’s Scottish Cup with Celtic last season while she has played in the UEFA Women’s Champions League during her time north of the border.

The player started her career with SSE Airtricity League Women’s Premier Division club Cork City before joining Shelbourne where she enjoyed two spells. Noonan has previous experience of playing in the Barclays WSL2 in a two-year spell with Durham.

On the international stage, Noonan has represented the Republic of Ireland on 14 occasions in which she has scored two goals.

Noonan is Watford’s fourth signing of the summer transfer window. The club have added some real quality to their squad so far this summer.
