Dani Carvajal is all set to leave Real Madrid at the end of the season, with tomorrow’s La Liga game against Athletic Club being his last one for the club.
A player who has been associated with the club since he was 10 years old, the right-back will depart as an absolute legend, having made over 450 appearances and won 27 trophies with Los Blancos.
Naturally, the game against Athletic tomorrow at the Santiago Bernabeu will be an emotionally-charged event for the club captain.
Ahead of his final farewell, Carvajal completed his final training session with the club earlier today at Valdebebas.

The Real Madrid captain laid the first stone of Valdebebas more than 20 years ago while taking his first steps with the club’s Under-12 A team.
Now, on the eve of his final match wearing the royal white of Real Madrid, Carvajal also wanted to say goodbye to the training ground.
After the final training session before the match against Athletic, the Real Madrid captain shared a photo with his followers seated on the grass of the Valdebebas pitch.

“Last day where I grew up, worked and fought to achieve my dreams. We’ll see each other again in another version of me,” Carvajal wrote.
The ending of Carvajal’s statement seemingly left the door open to a future return to Valdebebas and Real Madrid, but in a different role.
Only time will tell is such a return ends up materialising in the future. For now, Carvajal, who still has plenty left to offer, will look to bid goodbye to his ‘home’ on a winning note and continue his career elsewhere.
