Yan-Aurel Bisseck has been repeatedly linked with FC Bayern in recent weeks and months and has now responded to the rumors
FC Bayern are pressing ahead with their squad planning for the coming season. After an extremely intensive season, the Munich club are looking to get back on the attack next year. The big goal remains clear: the German record champions want to return to the top of Europe and have their say in the Champions League
To this end, those responsible at Säbener Straße are also looking around for possible reinforcements in defence. One name that keeps coming up is Yan-Aurel Bisseck. The German international is currently under contract with Inter Milan and has built up a strong reputation in Serie A in recent years
However, the player himself is taking a relaxed approach to the rumours surrounding his future. At a recent press conference, Bisseck made it clear that he is not currently giving much thought to a transfer. „I’m happy at Milan. It’s always nice to be linked with big clubs, but I’m not thinking about that at the moment,“ explained the Inter professional
„At the moment, I’m only thinking about going on vacation,“ the defensive player continued. After that, Bisseck said, „we’ll see.“ A clear rejection of FC Bayern sounds different
As the Italian Gazzetta dello Sport reports, Inter Milan would be prepared in principle to let the German international leave in the summer. However, a transfer would not be cheap
The Nerazzurri have already set a price tag of around €40 million for Bisseck, a sum that seems realistic for top European clubs for a player who still has development potential and has already gained experience at a high level
FC Bayern are said to continue to view Bisseck as a concrete option for the defence, although it remains to be seen whether the interest will actually develop into something more. Much is likely to depend on how the personnel situation in Munich develops in the coming weeks
According to the report, several other top European clubs in addition to Bayern are also keeping a close eye on the Inter defender’s situation. The competition for Bisseck could therefore pick up speed
From a sporting point of view, Bisseck has many qualities that are in demand at FC Bayern. The 25-year-old can not only play in central defense, but can also help out on the right side of defense. This versatility makes him particularly interesting for a club like Bayern
Added to this are his physical presence, pace and strength in the air, qualities that could prove valuable for Munich, especially in tight games and against physically strong opponents
Particularly exciting from Bayern’s point of view: Bisseck is said to be quite open to a move to the Bundesliga, and a transfer to Munich could also be attractive for him with a view to the German national team
The Bayern flirtation is not yet on the home straight, but Bisseck’s statements at least leave room for speculation. After his vacation, it should become clearer whether the rumours surrounding the Inter star will actually become a hot transfer topic.
