Werder to play friendly against SC Preußen Münster | OneFootball

SV Werder begin their Bundesliga season at the end of August, with games against Eintracht Frankfurt and Bayer Leverkusen before the first international break. Werder will use this time to play a friendly against Preußen Münster, as they did last year. The date is set for Friday, 5th September, 16:30 CEST, at the Marschweg-Stadion in Oldenburg.

After clinching promotion in 2024, the second-tier side were able to stay up last season. Alexander Ende’s team began the 2025/26 season with a 3-2 loss at Karlsruher SC before drawing 1-1 with SC Paderborn. In the DFB-Pokal, Münster were only just beaten on penalties by Hertha BSC.
