Roma might have to do without Wesley in this weekend’s Serie A match against Torino after he sustained an injury on international duty with Brazil.
The wing-back had initially been expected to start the 2026 World Cup qualifier against Bolivia, but was not even on the bench for Carlo Ancelotti’s side.
According to Sky Sport Italia, he is suffering from an inflammation of the left knee, and therefore is a major doubt to feature for Roma in Sunday’s game against Torino.
That kicks off on Sunday at 11.30 UK time (10.30 GMT).

Wesley had a good impact in Serie A, scoring on his debut for Gian Piero Gasperini’s men and playing the full 90 minutes in both matches this season.
It is likely that the players who could fill in for him against Torino are either Zeki Celik or Devyne Rensch on the right flank of the 3-4-2-1 formation.
Roma are already missing summer signing Leon Bailey, who sustained a muscular injury during his first training session.
