Jamaldeen Jimoh-Aloba has been very complimentary about the Baggies after rejoining the club on loan from Aston Villa.
West Brom concluded their deadline day business with two arrivals, taking their tally up to four additions over the winter transfer window.
After previously bringing in goalkeeper Max O’Leary from Bristol City and wing-back Danny Imray from Crystal Palace until the end of the season, Albion also added youth by bringing two teenagers into the building.
The Baggies completed a double raid from the Eagles by securing the services of talented youngster Hindolo Mustapha on a loan deal, while Aston Villa attacker Jamaldeen Jimoh-Aloba has returned to The Hawthorns on loan from Villa Park.
There were a few outgoings too, with young defender Michael Parker joining Swedish outfit Orgryte IS on a permanent deal.
Samuel Iling-Junior’s loan spell from Aston Villa was cut short too, while third-choice goalkeeper Joe Wildsmith has seemingly had his Albion career brought to an end as he will spend the last few months of his contract on loan at Middlesbrough.
Focusing on Jimoh-Aloba, he’s back at the place where his career all started. The winger only departed Albion in 2023 in favour of a move to the Villains, but he is back to help add a much-needed spark in the forward area and drag the club out of the relegation mire.
Following the completion of his move, Jimoh-Aloba gave an interview to WBA TV about the reason behind his move to The Hawthorns, and Albion supporters are sure to love how he responded.

Speaking to WBA TV following the confirmation of his loan back to West Brom, Jamaldeen Jimoh-Aloba opened up about why Albion was the place for him to come back to, and his affection for the club is sure to win a lot of hearts of the Baggies faithful.
Jimoh-Aloba said: “This was the number one place I wanted to come because of the emotions and feelings I have towards the club. Those emotions are still in me deeply.
“This is a massive club that should be in a much better place and I want to come here and help and do the best I can. I’m determined to help lift the team.
“I was here as a kid from the age of six, so it’s a place I’m comfortable at. It’s a positive for me to come back and I can’t wait to get going.”

While there will be concerns about Jamaldeen Jimoh-Aloba’s lack of experience of playing top-level professional football, you know from his comments that he is going to give everything for the club to keep them in the Championship, and that’s more than can be said for some of the players, who are helping the club sprint towards the League One trapdoor.
The wideman will add fearlessness, directness and a hunger to succeed when putting back on the famous blue and white stripes, and it’s the type of passion and determination needed if Albion are going to turn results around and get moving up the table.
The 19-year-old is taking returning to his boyhood club in his stride, and more of those characters, who have tremendous heart, are going to be needed in the dressing room, with Eric Ramsay’s men needing a big lift after a torrid opening four games in the Albion dugout.
