Six players are out and three more are doubtful for Leeds United’s Premier League finale at West Ham, with a pair expected to return.
According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, the final team news arrives ahead of Sunday at the London Stadium, where the clubs face contrasting stakes.
Leeds will be without Noah Okafor, who has a calf issue, and Gabi Gudmundsson, out since a late hamstring injury in the FA Cup semi-final defeat to Chelsea. Anton Stach also misses out after an ankle blow against Brighton, though the problem is not major and he would have been available next week.
Sean Longstaff is absent after hernia surgery this week, and Ilia Gruev’s season is over following a training ground meniscus injury. West Ham remain without goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski, sidelined all season by a back problem.
Leeds have been safe for two weeks, sealed by Arsenal’s 1-0 win at West Ham that confirmed survival with three games left. Daniel Farke has stressed finishing strongly, and his side are unbeaten in eight after last weekend’s 1-0 win at home to Brighton.
West Ham, third-bottom, must win to stand any chance of staying up, yet their inferior goal difference means they will still go down if fourth-bottom Tottenham avoid defeat at home to Everton. A Hammers victory combined with an Everton win at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium would secure a final day escape.
