West Ham have confirmed that Adama Traore and Lukasz Fabianski will leave on free transfers after releasing their retained list following relegation. The club said in a statement that both will be listed when their contracts expire on 30 June.
The Irons’ 14-year stay in the Premier League ended despite a final-day 3-0 home win over newly promoted Leeds, who were safe with three games remaining.
Fabianski, 41, first spent seven seasons at the club from 2018 to 2025, won Hammer of the Year in 2019 and was in the squad that lifted the UEFA Europa Conference League in 2023. He returned in September 2025 on a one-year deal.
Spanish winger Traore joined from Fulham in January and made 12 appearances. He started three FA Cup ties, assisting against Brentford and Leeds, and came on nine times in the league.
French centre-back Axel Disasi will return to Chelsea at the end of his loan after 17 appearances across the Premier League and FA Cup, including a goal against Leeds in the sixth round.
Development players Michael Forbes, Junior Robinson, Tyron Akpata, Daniel Rigge, David Chigwada and Tom Wooster, plus academy scholar Jonathan Unwin, will also depart on 30 June.
