West Ham considering Nuno Espírito Santo
West Ham United is weighing up a managerial change. According to several media outlets, the London club is closely monitoring Nuno Espírito Santo, who is currently a free agent.
Currently managed by Graham Potter, West Ham has had a tough start to the season. With only three points from four matches, the Hammers find themselves in the relegation zone in the Premier League. Potter, who arrived last winter, is already under scrutiny, especially after finishing 14th last season. According to journalist Alan Nixon, no final decision has been made yet, but the club’s board is already considering possible alternatives.
Nuno Espírito Santo, who was recently dismissed by Nottingham Forest after tensions with owner Evangelos Marinakis, has emerged as one of the main candidates. The 51-year-old Portuguese manager had nonetheless guided Forest to a 7th-place finish last season. Over the course of his career, he has also managed Tottenham, Wolverhampton, and Valencia.
