Matchday 1 of the UEFA Women’s EURO 2025 continued on Friday evening and, as has been and will be the case every day of the group stage, there was Juventus Women interest in the tournament.
Denmark were in Group C action, and Bianconere forward Amalie Vangsgaard started the game for Denmark against Sweden, before coming off after 63 minutes for Signe Bruun. In what was a tough opener for the Danes, they fell to a narrow 1-0 loss to their fellow Scandinavians.
Saturday sees Group D kick off, with Danielle de Jong and the Netherlands taking on Wales at 18:00 before Pauline Peyraud-Magnin and her France teammates face reigning champions England.
