Grêmio and Remo drew 0-0 in the Brasileirão at the Arena do Grêmio, a point that moves the hosts from 13th to 11th and the visitors from 20th to 18th.
In the 34th minute, Francis Amuzu hit the right post for Tricolor Gaúcho. Yago Pikachu then won a penalty (38.). VAR confirmed the spot kick, but Alef Manga's effort was saved low by Weverton (42.).
After the restart, Weverton tipped over Pikachu's drive from outside the box (60.). Marcelo Rangel then denied Tetê from range (62.). In the second minute of second half stoppage time, Rangel saved Carlos Vinícius's header.
Half time changes energised Imortal, with Tetê and Arthur introduced to lift the tempo, and Tetê repeatedly testing Rangel from distance.
Remo finished with 10 players as Pikachu received a second yellow and was sent off (68.).
There were treatment pauses for Weverton in the first half and for Rangel late on.
