QPR fans have reacted in a number of ways to what Jonathan Varane did to Kieran Morgan
Queens Park Rangers supporters have been reacting to what Jonathan Varane did to Kieran Morgan after scoring their dramatic winning goal against Birmingham City.
The Rs are currently enjoying a positive run of form, which has seen them become one of the latest teams to assume a Championship play-off position.
Julien Stephan’s side have won four of their previous five matches, a run that includes victories over Hull City, Blackburn Rovers, West Brom and Birmingham. Remarkably, the only side to have defeated QPR in this time is Norwich City, who currently lie 19th in the standings.
That result is somewhat symptomatic of Rangers’ season thus far, as they have won nine of their first 20 second-tier matches, whilst also tasting defeat on seven occasions.
QPR are now establishing a streak of consistency, with Loftus Road becoming something of a fortress in recent weeks, and the R's will need to be at the top of their game when they travel to face second-placed Middlesbrough on Saturday afternoon.

Last time out, QPR bested Birmingham in dramatic fashion. After taking the lead via Jimmy Dunne after 40 minutes, Stephan’s side looked set to see out proceedings and take home all three points.
However, Patrick Roberts’ leveller at the back post in stoppage time looked to have earned Birmingham a draw, with the Rs crestfallen. The home side didn’t lie down and accept their fate though, responding with a dangerous attack.
Young midfielder Kieran Morgan struck from outside the area in the 90+6th minute to send Loftus Road into raptures and ensure that QPR’s strong run of form continued. When celebrating that goal, Varane clearly couldn’t contain his excitement and decided to play a prank on Morgan.
As the 19-year-old finished celebrating, Varane decided to pull his shorts down in a humorous manner, leading to laughs from the crowd and surrounding stewards.
Whilst perhaps more akin to antics found on a playground than during an EFL Championship contest, this act highlights the current good feeling within QPR’s camp and has got supporters reacting.

Some QPR fans were quick to see the funny side of what Varane had done and made sure their feelings were known in the comments.
“Hilarious,” noted one supporter.
“Why not man the happiness we all felt when that went in hit Varane too, is there such a thing as being too happy you can’t control your movement,” commented another.
Some of the Loftus Road were more concerned, hoping that Varane wouldn’t receive any punishment for this act.
“Any chance varane gets a ban for that?” queried one fan.
There was also a sense of relief from some supporters, glad that Varane had just pulled down Morgan’s shorts without it escalating any further.
“So glad he had pants on,” joked a fan.
Varane’s prank on Morgan was not only funny but also another sign of the good mood within QPR’s squad at this moment in time.
