The headquarters of the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) will host the draw for the 2026 World Cup play-offs on Thursday, November 20 The 2026 World Cup.
The battle promises to be fierce for the last six qualification spots at the world's premier football tournament.
Twenty-two nations will be involved in this draw, including the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), the sole African representative after clinching the African play-off last Sunday against Cameroon and Nigeria.
The draw for the World Cup qualifying play-offs is scheduled to kick off at 12:00 GMT.
Several broadcasters will cover the ceremony, including beIN Sports and SuperSports, as well as L’Équipe and FIFA+, the official platform of the International Football Federation.
Six nations will compete in the intercontinental play-offs:
DR Congo – 56th
Iraq – 58th
Jamaica – 70th
Bolivia – 76th
Suriname – 123rd
New Caledonia – 149th
Sixteen nations will be involved in the European play-offs:
Pot 4: Sweden, Romania, North Macedonia, Northern Ireland
