The women’s FA Cup fourth round is over and the draw for the next stage of the competition is coming up, with some low-ranked teams still in the competition.

There are teams from the top four tiers in the women’s football pyramid – including Chatham Town from the Women’s National League Division One South East.

The women’s FA Cup fifth round draw takes place on Monday, 19th January.

The 16 clubs remaining in the FA Cup will play their fifth round ties on Sunday, 22 February.

Chatham Town are ball number five in the draw and they will be hoping for a big cup tie against one of the remaining 10 WSL sides in the competition.

Can Chatham Town cause an upset?

As the lowest ranked side left in the FA Cup, all eyes will be on Chatham Town in the fifth round.

The National League side had a favourable draw in the last 32 and they breezed past York City 3-0 to advance.

After a confident win against another National League side, Chatham Town will be hoping to draw a team from the first division next.

There are plenty of teams who would excite Chatham in the next round of the FA Cup but they will be hoping to get Manchester City who are flying in the WSL.

Five other teams from outside the WSL remain in the cup this year, with Charlton Athletic, Birmingham City, Oxford United, Bristol City and Sheffield United all looking to cause an upset in the fifth round.
